2014 MLS All-Star Game: Rosters, start time, TV coverage, live stream
The 2014 MLS All-Star Game will be held in Portland, Ore. at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers, on Aug. 6. The MLS All-Stars will take on Bayern Munich in the match. On Aug. 1, Bayern played a friendly against Club Deportivo Guadalajara in New Jersey.
Bayern features six players who helped Germany win the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, and are expected to have limited roles in the match. Midfielder Mario Götze scored the game-winner against Argentina.
Several members of the MLS All-Star team played for the United States men's national team in the World Cup. Graham Zusi, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and DeAndre Yedlin helped the United States to the round of 16 in Brazil. (Kyle Beckerman played for the U.S. as well, but he dropped out of the All-Star Game due to injury.) Bayern's Julian Green also played for the U.S. at the World Cup.
