Kylian Mbappe to Part Ways With Paris Saint-Germain at Season’s End, per Report

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé will leave the club the end of this season when his contract expires, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein. The details of his departure are expected to be finalized and announced in the coming months.

Mbappé costs PSG €200 million ($215 million) per year. His contract is set to expire on June 30.

Over the summer, PSG received a €300m ($322.8 million) offer for Mbappé from Al Hilal in the summer, but he ultimately stayed put. The Saudi Pro League club was given permission to talk to the 25-year-old during the process.

Mbappé signed a new two-year contract in the summer of 2021 that included a 12-month extension clause for the 2024-25 season, but Mbappé elected to not trigger it. The deadline for that decision passed on July 31, 2023.
