Yedlin is another youngster along for the ride this time around. His ascent from being a college player two years ago has been rapid, launching him into the Seattle Sounders first team and onto the MLS All-Star roster. The fast, athletic 20-year-old started at right back for the U.S. at the 2013 Under-20 World Cup.
OUTLOOK: Klinsmann has hinted that any appearance Yedlin makes would be for his speed on the flank. He has the freedom with his club team to fly down the wing with the ball at his feet, so that should be a comfortable spot for him if he gets that chance. However, his decision-making will have to improve to have an impact.
