Nate Britt Jr. commits to UNC

"I would like to go to North Carolina University because I like Roy Williams," Britt said at the time.

Six years later, nothing has changed. Britt officially committed to UNC at Gonzaga Prep's pep rally in Washington, D.C on Tuesday night.

"At the end of the day, North Carolina felt like home to me," Britt said.

One of the top high school point guards in the nation, the 6-1, 165-pound Britt is Rivals' 11th-ranked prospect in the junior class. He averaged 13.5 points and 5.2 assists last season, and joins Isaiah Hicks -- a four-star power forward -- in the Tar Heels' 2013 haul.

Britt also considered Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, Villanova and Georgetown before making his final decision.
