According to ESPN’s Dan Rafael, the third fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will no longer happen on July 18 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus. Boxing promoter Bob Arum told ESPN that the hope is to reschedule the bout to a date in the fall. "You could not guarantee the fighters that the event would take place on that date. We couldn't convince them or ourselves. Where were they going to train for it? It just made no sense. You just have to take a step back. How are you going to sell tickets? It's absolutely ridiculous to say the fight is on when the Brits can't even get there." In their last bout Fury defeated Wilder by technical knockout and won the WBC heavyweight championship. Wilder was hoping to avenge his first defeat but it appears the Bronze bomber will have to wait until he get back into the ring with the Gypsy King.
