2011 Preseason All-Big 12 Team
Landry Jones
A potential Heisman Trophy candidate, OU's 24-game starter ranked second nationally last season in passing yards (4,718) and set school records for both completions (405) and attempts (617).
Cyrus Gray
Pressed into a starter's role midway through last year, the 5-10, 198-pound Gray ended the regular season with a career-high 223-yard game at Texas.
Joseph Randle
With last year's top 10 national rusher Kendall Hunter off to the pros, powerful Randle figures to build on the potential he showed as a freshman, when he averaged 67.6 total yards per game.
Justin Blackmon
The 2010 Biletnikoff Award winner set an NCAA record by finishing with at least 100 yards and a touchdown in 12 consecutive games.
Ryan Broyles
Already one of the most prolific receivers in college history, Broyles needs 51 receptions and 1,576 receiving yards to break both FBS career records.
Michael Egnew
The latest in a line of big-time tight ends to play for Missouri coach Gary Pinkel, the 6-6, 240-pound Egnew hauled in 90 passes (best in the country among tight ends) for 762 yards (second best) after making just seven catches during his first two years.
Levy Adcock
In his first year starting at right tackle, Adcock didn't allow a sack and earned All--Big 12 recognition last season. He was one of the key pass blockers for 4,277-yard passer Brandon Weeden.
Lonnie Edwards
Big 12 coaches named the 6-4, 322-pounder to the all-conference second team last season. Edwards has made 23 career starts at that position.
Ben Habern
Injuries dampened his first two years in Norman, but in 2010, Habern played more snaps (1,070) and had more knockdowns (123) than any OU offensive lineman.
Lane Taylor
Buried on the Cowboys' depth chart two years ago, Taylor worked his way onto the first team the third week of 2009 and never relinquished the spot. He's 6-3, 327 pounds and is an Outland Trophy candidate.
Kelechi Osemele
A two-time All-Big 12 honoree, the 6-6, 347-pound mammoth made it onto several early 2012 NFL draft first-round projections.
Brad Madison
With the departure of top 10 NFL pick Aldon Smith, Madison figures to be the most disruptive playmaker on the Tigers' stacked defensive line. He had a team-high 71/2 sacks last season.
Kheeston Randall
The veteran enters his third year as one of the Longhorns' starters inside. His push up front has helped Texas produce defenses ranked in the top six nationally in each of the past two seasons.
Frank Alexander
A key member of Oklahoma's defensive line rotation the past three years, Alexander, who had a career-high four tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble against Nebraska last year, is poised for a huge senior season.
Jacquies Smith
A second-team All-Big 12 selection last season, the speedy and athletic Smith had 10 tackles for loss and forced and recovered two fumbles.
Travis Lewis
The 41-game starter and three-time All-Big 12 honoree returns for his senior season to put the crowning touches on an already distinguished career.
Jake Knott
Knott, one of ISU's co-captains, averaged 10.8 tackles per game, second best in the conference, and had a career-high 16 tackles against Colorado in 2010.
Keenan Robinson
The veteran outside linebacker gets to the ball and makes plays. In 38 career games (including 26 starts) he's racked up 211 tackles and 15 tackles for loss.
Coryell Judie
After transferring from junior college, then redshirting a year due to injury, Judie exploded on the scene in 2010, showing off tremendous speed and footwork while leading the team with four interceptions.
Blake Gideon
It seems as if he's been a Longhorn forever, starting all 39 games since he arrived on campus. An honorable mention All-Big 12 pick every year, he has 194 career tackles and eight interceptions.
Ty Zimmerman
He grayshirted for a semester, paying his own way, then switched from QB to defensive back. Zimmerman was second-team All-Big 12 his first.
Leonard Johnson
The Cyclones count on Johnson, a starter since his freshman season, to cover some of the nation's top receivers. He has five career picks and 18 pass breakups.
Grant Ressel
A two-time Groza Award semifinalist, Ressel is nearly automatic on field goal attempts, having converted 43 of 46 tries over the past two seasons. Including extra points, he has made 96.2 percent of his kicks.
Quinn Sharp
Thanks to a powerful offense, the Cowboys didn't have to punt often last season, but when they did, Sharp averaged 46.2 yards per kick, second best in the nation, and had 11 punts downed inside the 20.
Coryell Judie
In his first year in the role, Judie emerged as one of the nation's most dangerous kick returners, ranking sixth in yards per return (30.2) and bringing back two for touchdowns, against Oklahoma and Baylor.
Ryan Broyles
Opponents make a point to avoid giving Broyles many opportunities because he makes them pay when they do. Two years ago he had a career-high 209 punt-return yards in a game against Oklahoma State.
