The Virginia Cavaliers will look to push their record to 3-2 on the season this Saturday when they welcome in the Kent State Golden Flashes. Virginia is coming off a loss to BYU, while Kent State is still winless in 2014.

Week 4: BYU 41, Virginia 33

Two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown from BYU quarterback Taysom Hill proved too much for the Cavaliers to overcome. Virginia quarterback Greyson Lambert finished the game 21-of-35 for 188 yards and an interception, but he was pulled in the third quarter due to an injury. Backup Matt Johnson took over and finished 14-of-23 for 139 yards and a touchdown. Lambert rushed for a touchdown before exiting the game. 

Week 3: Virginia 23, Louisville 21

Virginia topped No. 21 Louisville with a late 42-yard field goal from kicker Ian Frye. Virginia held a 20-7 lead after the third quarter, but two Louisville touchdowns in the fourth gave the Cardinals the lead. Virginia prevailed on the late field goal. 

Week 2: Virginia 45, Richmond 13

Cavaliers quarterback Greyson Lambert was 13-of-15 for 102 yards and a touchdown, helping Virginia snap a 10-game losing streak dating back to last season. 

Week 1: UCLA 28, Virginia 20

Though Virginia's defense stifled UCLA's high-powered offense -- including Heisman candidate Brett Hundley -- the Cavaliers still fell to the Bruins, 28-20. UCLA scored three defensive touchdowns.

Week 3: Ohio State 66, Kent State 0

Kent State failed to score in a visit to Ohio Stadium. Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett tied a school record with six touchdown passes. The Buckeyes led 48-0 at the half. Kent State finished with 126 yards while the BUckeyes finished with 628. 

Week 2: South Alabama 23, Kent State 13

South Alabama jumped out to a 16-0 lead before Kent State scored its first points of the game, a Nick Holley eight-yard touchdown catch from Colin Reardon. Reardon tossed a 44-yard touchdown to Casey Pierce early in the fourth quarter to narrow the deficit to three points, but South Alabama closed out Kent State and earned a 23-13 victory. 

Week 1: Ohio 17, Kent State 14

Kent State quarterback Colin Reardon threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns against in-state rival Ohio, but a two-touchdown performance from Ohio quarterback Derrius Vick helped the Bobcats open their season with a win. A Josiah Yazdani 44-yard field as time expired gave Ohio the victory.
