Four-star recruits Devonaire Clarington, Tim Irvin commit to Texas
Four-star recruits Devonaire Clarington and Tim Irvin committed to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday at the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Clarington, a four-star tight end from Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington, is considered the No. 11 tight end recruit and the No. 38 player in the state of Florida in the class of 2015 by scouting site Rivals.com.
Listed at 6-foot-5, 224 pounds, Clarington chose Texas over a list of finalists including Florida, LSU and Miami. He also held scholarship offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Miami and several other top programs, according to Rivals.

Clarington is Texas' first tight end commitment for 2015, and the 10th four-star commitment of the Longhorns' class. According to Rivals, Texas' 2015 class ranks 10th in the country.
Irvin, a four-star athlete from Palmetto Bay (Fla.) Westminster Christian, is considered the No. 23 safety in the 2015 class. Listed at 5-foot-8, 182 pounds, Irvin chose Texas over Florida, Miami and West Virginia.
He will also enroll at Texas early, according to BurntOrangeNation.com. Irivn held other scholarship offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, LSU and several other schools.
