Colorado's Tyler Henington out for season after breaking ankle, fibula
Colorado Buffaloes defensive lineman Tyler Henington will miss his second straight season after breaking his ankle and fibula, reports the Daily Camera.
The injury occurred when Henington lost his balance and stepped into a hole while leaving a restaurant, according to the report. He missed all of last season with a torn ACL.
“I've never had that happen where a young man comes back from a season-ending injury, works all the way, we're five days away before we start and he gets hurt off the field,” said Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre. “Tyler is a great young man and he will recover from this and be back next year but it's tough for him.”
Because he will have lost two whole seasons to injury, Henington would be eligible for a sixth season of eligibility in 2017 if he chooses to stay in school that long. Henington was a three-star recruit, according to 247sports.

In 23 career games, Henington has 33 total tackles and four quarterback hurries.
