Despite failing to cover the spread as a 33.5-point favorite last week, the Buckeyes did bounce back from a lackluster performance against Northern Illinois with a convincing 38-12 win over the Western Michigan Broncos.

Cardale Jones played well in his first game as the full-time starter passing for 288 yards and two touchdowns and the defense continued to shine giving up just 12.3 points per game this season.

After failing to cover the spread in its last three games at home, Ohio State will look to do so on the road as it did in its season opener against Virginia Tech. The Buckeyes are 15-0 SU and 9-6 ATS in their last 15 games against the Indiana Hoosiers per the OddsShark College Football Database.

The Indiana Hoosiers have built up some optimism around the program with a 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS start to the season. The team hasn't played any tough opponents yet, but through the non-conference schedule the offense has looked sharp averaging 38.3 points per game.

This week, the Hoosiers get their first real test of the season against the defending national champions. The Hoosiers have covered the spread in each of their last four games against Ohio State including a 42-27 road loss last year as a 35.5-point dog.

Saturday afternoon's total for the Ohio State vs. Indiana betting matchup is set at 66.5 points. The OVER is 6-1 in Ohio State's last seven road games and 7-0 in Indiana's last seven October home games.

Ohio State's 18-0 SU overall streak and 15-0 SU streak against Indiana will both be on the line this Saturday. The Hoosiers defense allowing 32 points per game this season doesn't bode well for the major upset, but Ohio State has looked far from invincible this season, and a slow start in the first half could make for an interesting finish in Indiana.
