Week 11 betting odds: Baylor, Alabama are among favorites

Alabama and Baylor are among betting favorites in Week 11 of college football

A close win by Baylor (8–0) over Kansas State last Thursday cost it two spots in the AP Top 25 poll, and it will face its biggest test so far this season in Week 11 on Saturday when it hosts No. 12Oklahoma (8–1) in a Big 12 showdown.

The Bears fell from second to fourth in the latest AP rankings and are consensus three-point favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com versus the Sooners, who have gone 8–2 straight up and 7–3 against the spread in their past 10 visits to Waco.

Oklahoma is also 10–2 SU and 9–3 ATS in its last 12 road games overall and has covered four in a row since suffering its lone loss of the season to Texas in the annual Red River Rivalry game. The Sooners have scored 58 points per game during their winning streak, outscoring their opponents by an average of nearly 46 points.

The Bears have now failed to cover two straight after covering each of their previous four games.

Another important matchup between top-25 teams will take place in the SEC when No. 3 Alabama (8–1) visits No. 20 Mississippi State (7–2).

Alabama is coming off a 30–16 victory against previously unbeaten LSU last Saturday, covering as a 7 1/2-point home favorite.

The Crimson Tide are seven-point road chalk over the Bulldogs, who have won their last four games, covering the spread in their past three. Mississippi State heads into the matchup with a positive trend in its favor, as the underdog is 3–1 ATS in the previous four meetings according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

The top-ranked Tigers are 26 1/2-point chalk and bring a 12-game winning streak into the Carrier Dome, with the visiting team covering three straight in the series.

Meanwhile, the No. 2 Buckeyes have the nation’s longest winning streak at 23 games—they are 10–0 SU in their last 10 on the road—and they are 16 1/2-point favorites facing an Illinois team that has dropped 10 of its past 11 at home during the month of November.

However, Ohio State is just 2–6 ATS in its last eight games overall.
