Penn State’s 259-pound kicker wrecked another returner

Legendary Penn State kicker Joey Julius, who checks in at 5'10" and 259 pounds, was up to his old tricks on Saturday.

Penn State kicker Joey Julius, a legend at 5'10" and 259 pounds, wrecked another kick returner on Saturday.

After trucking Kent State’s Raekwon James a couple of weeks ago, Julius went after Michigan’s Jordan Lewis. He ran right at him after booting the ball away, and forcefully took him down.

And, here’s another angle:

This is the third tackle of Julius’s career; he took down a Maryland player last season. He might want to come in on third-and-short in the future to stop the run.
