Bearcats Open as Home Underdogs Against Memphis Tigers

Cincinnati and Memphis are both struggling to cover spreads this season.

CINCINNATI — SI Sportsbook released odds for Cincinnati's Throwback Night against the Memphis Tigers at Fifth Third Arena. The road team is favored to win by 2.5 points on Tuesday night, and the total is 143.

Cincinnati is struggling to match the betting number this season. They are 10-12 against the spread in 2021-22—but fare better at home with a 7-6 ATS record at Fifth Third Arena compared to 3-6 on the road.

Oddsmakers have had a good gauge on Cincinnati's game totals. UC has hit the over in just 10-of-22 games.

Memphis is a conundrum for sportsbooks to figure out. The Tigers are 9-13 ATS this season and 3-6 on the road. They have a 12-10 totals record to UC's 10-12 mark.

All in all, Tuesday's game is a toss-up that Cincinnati desperately needs to win as the start of a winning streak to close AAC play. It all tips off inside Fifth Third Arena at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
