CINCINNATI — Cincinnati basketball needs to keep winning down the stretch and getting Simas Lukošius back from injury would be a nice boost to do so with Baylor and No. 5 Houston coming up next week.

Wes Miller noted on the 700 WLW postgame radio show that the wing still can't lift his right arm fully above his head as he continues recovering over the next few days.

"He's been improving in that it isn't stagnant," Miller noted to Dan Hoard and Terry Nelson on the broadcast. "He still can't lift his arm over his shoulder."

Cincinnati shot 7-23 from deep against West Virginia and 4-20 from outside in these latest two games without him. Lukošius is averaging 11.4 points and 3.1 rebounds, with a 36% mark from deep this season. His shooting impact is crucial to Cincinnati's offense.
