The Bearcats retained a good bit of talent for the upcoming campaign.

CINCINNATI — ESPN's Bill Connelly released his returning production metrics for the 2025 college football season and Cincinnati ranks 12th nationally on that front among FBS teams (68% of production returning in 2025). Plenty of juice is coming back on defense.

Names like Dontay Corleone and Jake Golday headline a strong veteran defense that improved throughout the season under first-year DC Tyson Veidt. Offensively, Cincinnati returned its quarterback Brendan Sorsby, veteran center Gavin Gerhardt, and lead tight end Joe Royer.
