Ohio State Buckeyes Legend Maurice Clarett Jumps on Cincinnati Bearcats' Bandwagon
CINCINNATI — Ohio State legend Maurice Clarett is jumping on the Cincinnati Bearcats' bandwagon.
Just hours after the Michigan Wolverines handed the Buckeyes their second loss of the season, Clarett made it clear that he's cheering for the Bearcats.
"Go Bearcats… I roll with the winners," Clarett tweeted. "Coach Fickell was my special teams coach when I got to school and they [are] from Ohio. That counts. I’m on the bandwagon."
The 12-0 Bearcats are fourth in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings. They could become the first non-Power 5 school to earn a bid to the College Football Playoff by beating Houston in the AAC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 4.
