Tyler Scott Met With Browns At NFL Combine, Wants To Play For Childhood Team

The wide receiver grew up in the Akron, Ohio area.

CINCINNATI — Tyler Scott grew up listening to Browns games on the radio after church on Sundays. The former Cincinnati wide receiver would love to play for his childhood team.

"Tyler Scott lit up when asked about the possibility of playing for the Browns," Cory Kinnan tweeted. "Said he grew up a diehard fan and would listen to the games on the radio on the way home from church every Sunday. Also said he had a great meeting with the team."

Scott is going through his combine drills on Saturday and dove into some intricacies of the wide receiver position with reporters on Friday.

“You have to understand that there’s a time in place to use it," Scott said about his elite speed. "DBs know you can run, but how you set up guys is how you create that separation.”

Scott would join former teammates Jerome Ford and James Hudson III in Cleveland if the Browns select him.
