Watch: Desmond Ridder and Alec Pierce Post Scorching 40-Yard Dash Times at NFL Combine

Both players performed well during the athletic testing session.

CINCINNATI — Former Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder and wide receiver Alec Pierce wowed NFL decision-makers during their athletic testing sessions on Thursday, and the 40-yard dash times stood out the most.

Ridder burned the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium with a 4.5 second unofficial time. That would be the fastest of any active NFL quarterback.

Pierce posted a blazing 4.33 unofficial 40-yard dash, which tied for fourth among wide receivers at that point in the testing session.
