Cincinnati Makes Top-Five Schools For 2024 Four-Star Forward Shon Abaev

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are among the top five schools for four-star 2025 shooting guard Shon Abaev out of Calvary Christian School (Florida).
On3's Joe Tipton reported the group that includes Cincinnati, Oregon, Auburn, Arizona State, and Arkansas.
According to 247Sports, Abaev is the 30th-best player nationally and the sixth-best small forward. The 6-7 talent held 26 total offers before cutting down his list. Abaev officially visited UC on Oct. 2.
He told Tipton there isn't a timetable for his commitment as Wes Miller's strong talent pursuit continues. Abaev's frame is exactly what slices up defenses in modern basketball. He can score from every level with noticeable athleticism. That could elevate even more in the Monster Factory with his physical traits.
