CINCINNATI — Recruiting rarely takes a break in college football and that's true even with the season starting this weekend.

Cincinnati just offered one of their first players out of the 2026 class in Bolles (Florida) wide receiver Naeem Burroughs.

Recruiting services don't have hard rankings for high school freshmen, but Burroughs looks like he has the makings of a four or five-star level talent. We all know it pays to be in on recruits as early as possible, and Cincinnati is Burroughs's first Division I offer.

The 6-foot, 155-pound receiver started his high school career with a bang this past weekend, posting six catches for 178 yards and a score. He has plenty of time to keep growing into his body. It's hard to tell just how good he can be, but the technique and speed are advanced for a freshman receiver.

Bolles is one of the most dominant football schools in Florida, so starting as a freshman is quite the feat. Burroughs also played in the Under Armour Futures All-America Game this year. The sky's the limit with this talent, and Cincinnati is first to the party.
