Will Oregon Ducks Flip 2025 4-Star Tight End, Michigan Wolverines Commit?

In this story:
The Oregon Ducks really want to add a tight end to the 2025 recruiting class.
Coach Dan Lanning and company have struck out so far, losing one battle to a Big 12 school and another to an SEC school via flip. Now, the Ducks are hoping to do their own flipping.
Over the weekend, Oregon made an offer to four-star tight end Andrew Olesh. The 6-5, 215 pounder out of Pennsylvania confirmed the offer on his Instagram with a picture of the Oregon Duck.
"Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Oregon 🦆 #scoducks #32," Olesh's caption read.

Unfortunately for Oregon fans, Olesh has been committed to the Michigan Wolverines since early July. Not only that, but Oregon wasn't in his top eight before his decision. Those eight were Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Missouri, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, and Pittsburgh.

At that time, though, Oregon didn't necessarily need Olesh on the board. The Ducks had picked up a commitment from four-star Da'Saahn Brame out of Kansas at the end of June. That lasted less than a month before Brame flipped to Tennessee.
Another Kansas prospect, five-star Linkon Cure had Oregon as one of his finalists. Ultimately, Cure elected to stay close to home with the Kansas State Wildcats.
Now, Lanning is wanting to find a way to flip Olesh and get his tight end coach Drew Mehringer someone new to work with in 2025 and beyond.
At the moment, Oregon has a top-tier tight end in Terrrance Ferguson. Next up, Patrick Herbert has proved to be more than serviceable. But those guys are both gone after this upcoming season. The experience begins to drop off and any new addition could potentially see the field quicly.
The underclassmen tight ends are Kenyon Sadiq (SO), A.J. Pugliano (FR), and Roger Saleapaga (FR). Sadiq caught five passes for 24 yards and a touchdown last season, while Pugliano and Saleapaga were both three-star prospects a year ago.
There would certainly be room for Olesh, should he decide to make the flip from maize and blue to green and yellow. Lanning could use his talent's in Eugene, and taking a skilled recruit away from a now conference foe would be icing on the cake for the team in Eugene.
