Travis Rice Begins Filming Follow-Up Movie to The Art of Flight

Building on the success of previous snowboarding films like, "That's It, That's All" and "The Art of FLIGHT", Red Bull Media House, in association with Brain Farm Digital Cinema, has announced that Travis Rice has begun production on his latest film project. Details about the film’s title and its release date will be unveiled later this fall, according to Red Bull.

"This film is an incredibly ambitious project," Travis Rice told redbull.com while shooting on location. "After pushing the limits in 'The Art of FLIGHT' we knew that it would be tough to take it to the next level without seriously getting out there. I can't reveal where we're going yet, but I can say we are headed into the unknown, and it’s an entirely new approach to following winter for me. Our team is going all in on this one.”

One of the most important factors of the upcoming movie is the technology behind the production. According to information released by the production company, the project will utilize the latest and greatest in film technology, being shot entirely in 4K ultra high-definition. This will be incredibly important when the crew is out in the elements trying to offer fans a unique level of realism of the nature surrounding them.

"4K is certainly the future of cinema and we want to be ahead of the curve and provide a state-of-the-art experience for our viewers unlike anything seen to date,” said Scott Bradfield, Head of Production for Red Bull Media House.

Between scouting new locations, developing storylines for the film and working on the various creative aspects of this project, Curt Morgan, the founder of Brain Farm Digital Cinema believes the team has spent almost 2 years on pre-production and logistical planning. Morgan believes that preparation will be the differentiating factor in this highly anticipated film.
