Boston Marathon wheelchair division winner honors Martin Richard

Boston Marathon wheelchair division champion Tatyana McFadden wore "MR8" on her shirt Monday in honor of eight-year-old Martin Richard, who died as a result of the marathon bombing in 2013.
"Today it's really about strength, courage and hope, and that's what Boston is about," McFadden said afterward on WBZ-TV in Boston. "The people of Boston carry me through the race. They're my second family, the marathon community."
McFadden was one of a number of runners to honor Richard during the marathon.

After the bombing two years ago, Richard's parents Denise and Bill created "Team MR8," as part of the Martin Richard Charitable Foundation.
The 25-year-old McFadden has now won the wheelchair division three straight years at the Boston Marathon. She also won three paralympic gold medals in London in 2012.
