Kate Hansen's Fourth Grade Yearbook Foreshadowed Her Olympic Fame

Thursday February 13th, 2014

Remember that goofy passage you probably wrote during elementary school, about hobbies or interests or what you wanted to be you grow up? I think I wrote something about The Simpsons, Shark Bites and boogers.

Anyhow, dancing American luger Kate Hansen wrote one of those and not only is her blurb hysterical ("Tackles my dog and people sometimes"), it shows that as a roughly 9 or 10 year old she set herself on a path to an Olympic tube.

Smart move by Hansen's parents steering her toward luge as opposed to letting her continue to fly headfirst into the street on a longboard.
