Seth Smith, meet your new teammate.

The newly acquired San Diego Padres outfielder recently found out about Yasmani Grandal's infamous sense of humor and it was captured on camera for all to see.

As Smith was giving a semi-serious interview to a local news station, the San Diego Padres catcher decided he'd video bomb Smith -- but it wasn't just your standard cameo.

With Smith completely unaware of what was going on behind him, Grandal walked into the camera frame and began to take a practice swing. That in itself would have been a fine video bomb, but Grandal decided to take it a step further.

After going through an extensive practice routine, Grandal dropped to a knee and used his bat as a shotgun, apparently shooting the "ball" he just "hit" out of the sky.

Smith was none the wiser and Grandal walked out of the frame like a boss.
