Detroit Teacher Makes 483 Free Throws in an Hour... While Blindfolded

Tuesday May 6th, 2014

A Detroit teacher hit 483 free throws in an hour … while blindfolded.

Paul Sauers, 52, pulled off the trick in an attempt to raise money for a mission trip to Uganda. Sauers filmed the video in March and it is now beginning to make the rounds.

While hitting 483 free throws, roughly a eight per minute, while blindfolded is amazing, what’s more amazing is that multiple people were willing to play ball boy and fetch rebounds for a solid hour.

Sauers is awaiting recognition from Guinness World Records. But the question remains: Was he actually listening to that song the entire time?
