In the past few years, Jack White has developed a reputation of being a bitter, angry man. The former White Stripes front man's guitar skills cannot be denied, but between dissing former bandmate/wife in interviews, delusional rants to his (other) ex-wife, and pummelling another rocker's face in, no one can say the rep is undeserved.

And so, it was unsurprising to see White looking stern as usual when he threw the first pitch at the the Tigers game in his hometown of Detroit.

But wait, a backstage photo show White might have actually enjoyed the whole ordeal, even cracking ... is that a smile?

Gotta say though, for a celebrity, his pitch wasn't bad at all.
