A Chicago bar bans Cowboys fan group for ranting about Tony Romo

A Chicago bar has banned a group of Dallas Cowboys fans who have congregated there to watch Cowboys games or the past three years, Patty Wetli of DNA info Chicago reports.

The group, Dallas Cowboys Fans In Chicago were allegedly banned because the fans were yelling "f--- you, Romo" when there were children around.

One of the members estimated that the group brought anywhere from 50-150 people to the Lincoln Square bar.

Members of the group will still be welcome to come into the bar, but the restaurant will no longer broadcast the audio of the game, as they had in the past.

Marc Hochmuth, who organizes the group, said it wasn't just Cowboys fans who were "cursing their quarterback."

From DNA info Chicago:

"It also happened with Bears fans saying, '(Expletive) you, Cutler,'" he added. "I heard more than enough expletives from Bears fans." At least Cowboys and Bears fans in Chicago can agree on something.

The group has since found a new bar to host the group.
