The Superman feud dates to last year's playoff battle between the two teams, when Kaepernick borrowed Cam Newton's signature Man of Steel touchdown celebration.

Hopefully this can be settled in a more civil manner than the Dwight Howard-Shaquille O'Neal Superman battle.
