Brewers mascot takes Twitter way too seriously

More than 41,000 people follow Milwaukee Brewers mascot Bernie Brewer on Twitter, for some reason. Bernie is very proud of his fact. Los Angeles Kings mascot Bailey launched a coup in an attempt to surpass Bernie as the most-followed mascot on Twitter.
Please help me become #1 overall sports mascots in Twitter followers. No one wants to lose to the Brewers #NOONE pic.twitter.com/Jsxi8RRkEQ

Bernie didn't take kindly to this, so he started asking people to follow him and help him stay on top.
Well, this isn't very nice. What are we going to do about this, #Brewers fans? #FollowBernie https://t.co/eDqaVDDzAY

Then he started tweeting at Brewers players, other MLB mascots, and mascots from other teams in the Milwaukee area. He was really getting desperate.

Things got really weird when Bailey peeled back the curtain on the reality of plush animals on social media.
I have it on good authority that @Bernie_Brewer is run by Pr guy and not even the mascot. You are being bamboozled #IWouldneverLie

Mascots are the worst. Ban mascots.
