David Ortiz compares himself and Tom Brady to wine

Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have a lot in common. Both are modern New England sports legends who have led their teams to titles in recent memory, and both have continued to produce at a high level despite being among the oldest on the field.
Ortiz is sitting at 39, while Brady is 37, and neither has announced any retirement plans. Ortiz has a simple explanation for their ability to defy what conventional age wisdom typically dictates.

Makes sense. And with the offseason the Red Sox have had, an even better David Ortiz is a scary thought.
