Justin Bieber appeared at Wednesday's press conference announcing the May 2 Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight.

Surprise: Justin Bieber appeared at Wednesday's press conference in Las Vegas announcing the May 2 Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight.

As expected, the event was full of hype—"This is a fight the world can't miss," Mayweather said—but even despite Bieber's noted connections to Mayweather, his presence at a press conference announcing one of the most-anticipated bouts in boxing history seemed over-the-top and entirely out of place.

We imagine we'll be seeing more of Bieber in the lead-up to the May 2 fight. Even with tickets starting at $1,500, Bieber probably has the means to find his way into the MGM Garden.
