New Orleans Pelicans head coach Monty Williams complained that Golden State Warriors fans were too loud, so they were kind enough to leave him some ear plugs.
When Pelicans coach Monty Williams expressed concern Monday that Warriors fans might be too loud, he should have known it would backfire on him.
"I'm not so sure that the decibel level is legal there, and I'm serious," Williams said, according to the Associated Press. "They've done studies on that. Being on the competition committee, there's got to be something to that because it does get a little out of hand."
Well, the crowd turned things up a notch on Monday night, but at least they were kind enough to provide Williams with some ear plugs first.
Golden State fans are obviously pretty rowdy, but are they more raucous that hockey fans in Winnipeg?
