The rest of the AFC East is obviously overjoyed that the NFL dropped the hammer on the Patriots with Monday's Deflategate punishment, but Suzanne Johnson, the wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson, thought twice about sharing her elation publicly.

The NFL suspended Tom Brady for the first four games of the 2015 season on Monday, and also fined the Patriots $1 million and took away two draft picks. The sanctions might make it a little bit easier for any team other than New England to win the AFC East for the first time since 2008.

So Johnson couldn't help but react gleefully on Twitter, sending a smiley face before she at-mentioned the Patriots and linked to an NFL.com story about the suspensions.

Johnson immediately deleted the tweet, but a screenshot from Boston Globe reporter Shalise Manza Young allowed it to live in infamy.

The Twitter faux pas wasn't even the worst public one in Johnson family history. One can't forget the time Woody Johnson favorited a tweet advocating the firing of his own team's general manager

Social media is a dangerous space to mess around in, kids. And you too, adults who own professional sports franchises.
