Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes picked the Dictionary.com Word of the Day

The National Spelling Bee may be over, but Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes isn't ready to let the wonder and awe of big words fall off America's radar.
The off-court star of the NCAA tournament, Hayes became known for his use of big words, such as “catawampus,” at press conferences to challenge the stenographer.
So when Dictionary.com gave him the chance to select the Word of the Day, he of course jumped at the opportunity.
What did Hayes pick? A word so long it couldn't even fit on a Scrabble board, of course. His selection was none other than “floccinaucinihilipilification,” which means “the estimation of something as valueless.”
“It was the word that the most tweeted at me during my stenographer shenanigans,” Hayes explains.
