. A good time was had by all, except Grumpy Cat, who was in one of her moods.
And We're Off
Week 1 of the college football season is in the books and Andy Staples' Punt, Pork and Catch is worth a read if you missed any of the action. Monday night, Ohio State defeated Virginia Tech 42-24 thanks to Braxton Miller. The quarterback-turned-receiver caught a 54-yard touchdown pass and rushed for a 53-yard score after completing one of the best spin moves you'll ever see. It was also a strong game for OSU quarterback (and Ronda Rousey's biggest fan) Cardale Jones, who got the start over J.T. Barrettand threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns. The real star of the game, however, was Virginia Tech tailback J.C. Coleman, who rocked a gold watch throughout the game.
Gross
I'm all for fans wearing their team colors, but this Alabama fan with an artificial "BAMA' eye is taking things to a level that makes me uncomfortable.

The Rock Saves a Puppy
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson welcomed two new members to his family over the weekend -- Baby French Bulldogs Brutus and Hobbs. Unfortunately for Johnson, only one knows how to swim, which caused the San Andreas star to jump in the pool (fully clothed) and make a rescue. The dogs sprinted toward the pool after being let out for the first time. Luckily, the jabroni-beating, pie-eating, trailblazing, eyebrow-raising former WWE champ was there for the save.
Drew Brees Kills a Crocodile
As he enters his 15th NFL season, Drew Brees decided to change up his offseason routine. And by "change up," I mean visit a Panamanian jungle with outdoorsman Bear Grylls and kill a crocodile.
