A youth soccer team got an offensive boost from an unlikely teammate recently when a small deer went sprinting through a game and helped distract a goalie before heading back into the forest.

With that kind of speed and ability to change direction the fawn could really do some damage if it decided to stick around the pitch a little longer.

Deer seem to be taking up a real interest in sports lately, as earlier this month a buck stopped by a Colorado high school’s homecoming game to take in some football action.
