Mustard Minute: Brett Favre congratulates Peyton Manning from a tree
Monday November 16th, 2015

Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre’s record for career passing yards on Sunday, but Favre wasn’t watching.

While Manning was on the field in Denver, Favre was up in a tree with a hunting bow. (We learned in SI’s “Where Are They Now?” issue that Favre spends football season hunting deer.) Word of Manning’s milestone eventually reached Favre in his perch, where the Old Gunslinger recorded a short congratulatory video.

Luckily for Manning, Favre probably didn’t get to see him throw four interceptions and get benched for Brock Osweiler.
