For Holly Holm, one of the perks that comes along with being the first person to beat Ronda Rousey is the opportunity to meet Jay-Z and Beyonce. 

Holm’s encounter with the First Couple of music didn’t go so well, but she’s not afraid to recount the story multiple times. 

First she told the fateful tale in an interview (on a plane?) with KRQE.

“I meet Jay-Z and he says, ‘This is my wife.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, hi. What’s your name?’” You can almost feel Holm’s heart skip a beat.

Undaunted, she relayed the mortifying anecdote once again on SportsCenter this morning.
