Houston coach Tom Herman will get a diamond grill from Paul Wall
Today in football coaches desperately trying to prove they are down with today’s youth, Houston Cougars coach Tom Herman will be fitted for a diamond grill from Paul Wall, a promise Herman made the team if they won the AAC championship.
Of course, the Cougars did just that, winning the conference title with a 24–13 win over Temple on Dec. 5. Herman will meet with Wall, a Houston native, on Tuesday for his fitting.
Wall is partially famous for guesting on the Nelly classic “Grillz,” in which he described his mouth as looking “something like a disco ball.” It only took over 10 years since the song was released, but someone finally wants to take Wall up on his grill expertise.
If Herman is truly about this life, he will wear the grill while coaching the Peach Bowl on Dec. 31.
