Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo make Instagram account for David Ross

Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant have made an Instagram account tracking veteran backup catcher David Ross’s final MLB season.

Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo are known to be good friends, a relationship captured by the Bryzzo portmanteau, but both also are quite fond of Cubs backup catcher David Ross.

The backstop is entering his final season in the MLB, and to document the journeyman’s last year as a player, Rizzo and Bryant created the hilarious @GrandpaRossy_3 Instagram account.

Spring training has just begun, and there are already four posts in the account, so get ready for plenty of Ross updates from the team’s young sluggers as they keep track of the “Year Long Retirement Party.”
