Steven Adams dodged Kevin Garnett’s trash talk by saying he didn’t speak English
Steven Adams might be one of the smartest players in the NBA.
The young Thunder big man knew Kevin Garnett could destroy his world with just a few words, so he devised a plan keep KG from talking trash: convince him he didn’t speak English.

They only played against each other six times, so KG apparently never caught on that Adams was pulling his leg. The exceptionally English name should have been a hint, but oh well.
