ESPN's Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic are in Year 17 of hosting the most vanilla show in sports history. In December, the two will go their separate ways as Greenberg will host his own TV show while Golic continues on radio with new partner, Trey Wingo. These last seven months should be a hoot because the two have stopped speaking to each other and the atmosphere around the show is "poisonous." Not sure why but this makes me really happy.

​Rio Olympics were a total disaster

Rio de Janeiro spent about $12 billion to organize the 2016 Olympics, which were plagued by cost-cutting, poor attendance, and reports of bribes and corruption. A special prosecutor spoke at a public hearing about the Games and I can't believe what a clusterf--k the whole event was (and still is, nearly a year later). 

Worst tweet of 2017

More than 20 people were killed (and another 59 injured) after an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, last night. While the world mourned, journalist David Leavitt made a really crass joke and the Internet let him have it.
