Golf Fans Call for PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan to Resign After Merger With LIV Golf

In a stunning move, the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf are joining forces after months of bitter back-and-forth accusations, lawsuits, and threats. The men’s professional golf world will now be unified, though it is going to take a lot for all of this to be completely settled.
One thing many golf fans are calling for after this news is for PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan to resign from his job after all the moves he made and things he said leading up to Tuesday’s news.
Basically, in the end, money talked and now players and fans are wondering how Monahan can stay in his position.
Jay Monahan is Tom Wambgans. After all of his bluster, his 9/11 stuff…to sit there next to Yasir on CNBC trying to spin this as victory for the tour (regardless of how much money is involved) instead of resigning on the spot. That 4pm players meeting is gonna be the thunderdome.

Jay Monahan needs to resign. He trips all over himself about sports washing and then installs a commercial grade laundromat for the Saudi Investment Fund at the expense of the players who stayed loyal to the Tour.

Jay Monahan should resign today. His position against LIV for the last two years and now signing an agreement with them is just unbearable. Can't imagine how many PGA players must be extremely pissed right now.
