Lower-body strength is a crucial part of the golf swing. Sufficient strength through the legs will help the golfer create more force into the ground and add stabilization during the follow-through when finishing a swing. Proper activation in the hips will help prevent unnecessary shifting while rotating. By following these exercises, golfers will be able to:

1) Achieve greater force production which can generate more speed

2) Create more stabilization in all ranges of the swings

3) Increase activation, which will teach more control in the hips

Start with a lateral single-leg step-up, then move to a single-leg glute bridge. Both drills are detailed in this week's video.
