SI High School Athlete of the Month: McTelvin "Sosa" Agim
Sports Illustrated traveled to Hope High in Hope, Ark., on Tuesday, Dec. 8, to recognize November selection McTelvin “Sosa” Agim as the SI High School Athlete of the Month, presented by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Sosa Agim smiles with former Arkansas running back Felix Jones, who led the nation with 9.1 yards per carry as a junior before entering the 2008 NFL Draft where he was a first-round draft pick. Jones played five seasons for the Dallas Cowboys and one for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Sosa Agim, a senior defensive end with a 3.8 GPA at Hope High, is the No. 1 ranked player in the state and No. 9 in the country. The Arkansas commit and SI High School Athlete of the Month for November appeared in the Nov. 30 issue of Sports Illustrated.
