Mission Viejo High School 2026 Football Schedule

The Mission Viejo Diablos released their 2026 football schedule, and they'll begin the season on August 21.

The Diablos went 9-2 in 2025, but they lost in the first round of the CIF Open Division playoffs to Mater Dei, 20-0. During the regular season, the Diablos only lost to McCallie, a team from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Diablos defeated eventual Open Division champion Santa Margarita 7-3 to open the 2025 season.

They will open against Chaparral at home. The Diablos won 36-21 last season in Temecula. They'll face Folsom, St. Paul, Lincoln and San Clemente again in 2026. They add San Juan Hills and Yorba Linda to the schedule this year.

The Diablos finished the season at No. 7 in High School On SI's California Power 25 rankings. They went 5-1 against Power 25 opponents last season.

Notable Mission Viejo returnees such as Jordan Hicks, Max Markofski, MJ Anderson and Jack Junker will hope to lead the Diablos deep into the playoffs.
