Baltimore Orioles pitcher Brian Matusz was ejected from Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins for having a foreign substance on his arm.

Matusz was tossed in the bottom of the 12th inning after Marlins manager Dan Jennings alerted the umpires to the substance. He had just recorded the second out of the inning.

T.J. McFarland replaced Matusz on the mound at got the final out of the inning. McFarland returned to pitch the bottom of the 13th inning and got two strikeouts before Adeiny Hechavarria scored from third on a single by Martin Prado, giving the Marlins a 1–0 walk-off win.
