Pop Culture Hot List
Yankee Stadium
Yes, it's ''The House That Ruth Built'' and ''The Cathedral of Baseball,'' but can we please stop pretending this is the same stadium Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio played in? That is unless they played in some alumni game after 1976. While it might not have as much history as people might think, it's still sad to see the old place go.

Text by Arash Markazi/SI.com
Ronnie Brown
Watching Brown run for four touchdowns and throw for another was like watching Darren McFadden run wild against North Texas last year in the same type of offense. Though, I don't think North Texas looked as confused as the Patriots.
Kendra Wilkinson & Hank Baskett
The newest couple to hit the sports world became official (at least on the blogosphere) last week as Kendra watched Baskett from a private box at "The Linc" on Sunday after the two were seen dining together in Philadelphia during the week. The lovebirds have also been dropping hints about their relationship on MySpace. How cute. What are the odds of a Kendra-Jessica Simpson cat fight during the Eagles season finale against the Cowboys on Dec. 28?
Tito Ortiz & Jenna Jameson
A double dose of congratulations are in order to Ortiz and Jameson, who are not only expecting their first child, but recently found out that they'll be the proud parents of twins.
Kim Kardashian
Normally I wouldn't encourage people to watch "Dancing With The Stars," let alone vote, but I think America deserves to see "The Tush" on the show for as long as possible. Not only will Reggie Bush's girl be a riveting sequined train wreck every week, but wouldn't you rather watch her backside than Warren Sapp's?
"It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"
The funniest show on television pays tribute to the hometown Eagles this week as Dan Klecko, Jon Runyan and Mike Patterson all have cameos. In the scene, Kaitlin Olson is interviewing the Eagles in front of city hall but there's a twist. I won't ruin the surprise, but let's just say if you liked the season premiere, which made fun of such topics as cannibalism and the gas crisis, this will be right up your alley.
Ryder Cup
Would it be awkward if the U.S. team told Tiger Woods to stay home before the next Ryder Cup? Without the best player on the planet, the U.S., which had lost the last two competitions against the Europeans in record-setting fashion, won its first Ryder Cup since 1999 and looked looser and more inspired with Anthony Kim than it ever did with Woods.
Chris Bosh & Baron Davis
If Davis proves to be as good on the court as he is at making viral videos since returning to Los Angeles, the Clippers will be a serious contender. After teaming up with Steve Nash for a "Step Brothers" spoof this summer, Boom Dizzle is now going up against Chris Bosh, who has made a viral video or two of his own, in a "Funniest Skit Challenge." I can only hope this will some day replace the "Skills Challenge" during NBA All-Star Saturday night.
Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslett
Has it really been 11 years since "Titanic" was in theaters? I'm surprised it's taken that long for someone to get these two together again on the big screen as the tandem stars in Revolutionary Road. Now if they can just get Celine Dion to do the sappy theme song.
Shea Stadium
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Shea Stadium also stages its last regular-season game this week. If you were wondering what happened to all the tributes for the 44-year old stadium, they were probably drowned out by the cheers of Mets fans who've been waiting 40 years to implode the place.
