College Hoops Games To Watch
No. 1 Duke at No. 6 Wake Forest
Wake Forest knocked off UNC to gain the No. 1 spot ... and then was defeated the next time the Demon Deacons set foot on the court. After rising to No. 1 this week, Duke's Gerald Henderson (pictured with Kyle Singler) will have to rise to the occasion of stopping Jeff Teague and a team that is looking to grab that No. 1 ranking right back.
No. 22 St. Mary's at No. 20 Gonzaga
As Andy Glockner wrote in this week's Bubble Watch, this game has repercussions beyond a little bit of rivalry pride: the WCC co-leaders both need the win to help their chances at the NCAA tournament, but Glockner says the Gaels probably need the regular-season crown more than Jeremy Pargo (pictured) and the Zags.
No. 12 Clemson at Virginia Tech
The Hokies surprised everyone when they knocked off then-No. 1 Wake Forest last week. Can they prove that they belong in the top tier of the ACC when they meet K.C. Rivers (pictured) and Clemson this week?
Notre Dame at No. 3 Pittsburgh
Notre Dame fell out of the AP top 25 rankings for the first time this season and will be looking to get back in the groove when the Panthers welcome Luke Harangody (pictured) and company to Pittsburgh.
Georgetown at No. 8 Marquette
What in the world has happened to Georgetown? Jerel McNeal (pictured) and the Golden Eagles are looking to keep their in-conference record perfect, but after a long week in Washington, DC, John Thompson III might have his team back on track.
No. 23 Washington at No. 14 Arizona State
Washington knocked off UCLA to hold onto first place in the Pac-10, but will the Sun Devils be able to knock the Huskies back down to earth? Jon Brockman (pictured) is averaging 15.8 ppg and 10.2 rpg for the Huskies.
Penn State at No. 9 Michigan State
Michigan State looks to avoid another upset loss at the Breslin Center when a feisty Penn State team comes to town. Kalin Lucas (pictured) is averaging 14.4 ppg for the Spartans.
